Kinesiology focuses on client movement, performance and overall function. The practice of kinesiology considers client biomechanics, anatomy and physiology, as well as addressing cognitive and psychosocial factors.

Kinesiologists rely on research and their experience, to treat and prevent injury and disease, and to enhance a client’s movement, function and performance. Kinesiologists work with people of all ages and physical abilities in many settings including their home, community gyms, workplaces and aquatic pools to help them achieve their optimal health and wellness targets while improving their overall quality of life.

Kinesiology specializes in the implementation of individualized exercise programs. Following a thorough assessment, the Kinesiologist assists patients on a one-on-one basis, fine-tuning their exercise program to restore maximum function.
